Dungeons and Dragons For Kids and Teens
Imagination is an incredible thing. It costs nothing, it’s always there, and developing and nurturing it is a lot of fun. Dungeons and Dragons offers kids and teenagers an opportunity to escape reality for a few hours a week and assume the identity of someone else entirely. Through puzzles, challenges, storytelling and character development, your adventurer will build on a variety of social-emotional learning skills and forge strong relationships with other members of the party.
Character Creation
Who among us hasn’t wanted to be someone else at some point in their lives? With D&D, each player is given the opportunity to develop their own character to roleplay as. From physical attributes to personality, backstory, and goals, kids will have the opportunity to conceptualize and inhabit a character of their own creation. Participation and excitement are key. Making sure each participant is invested in their characters helps maintain excitement and dedication to the campaign.
Worldbuilding
Before I start a new campaign, I take plenty of time to get to know each participant, finding out what their interests are, what their personality is like, whether they have any expectations or hopes for this campaign and more. With all this information in mind, I sit down to create a world that is influenced by the interests and ideas of the kids, as opposed to using the same stock campaigns over and over again. The beauty of a custom campaign is that everyone has a hand in shaping it.
Pricing for Kids D&D campaigns begins at $20 per participant per session.
